Cloud Drinker

The Cloud Drinker is an aquatic creature native to Ionia, the region from which it originates. It is a large, fish-like animal that keeps to temperate waters, making its home in the mild climate that characterizes much of its native land. Despite living in the water, the Cloud Drinker is nubivorous, feeding on clouds. This unusual diet gives the creature its name and sets it apart from ordinary fish, marking it as one of the stranger animals found in Ionia. Among the creatures catalogued across Runeterra, the Cloud Drinker is a minor one. It is notable chiefly for the contrast between its large, fish-like, water-dwelling form and the cloud-feeding habit that defines both its name and its nature.
