Their population is unusually far-reaching: it extends across most of Runeterra and carries on into the Celestial Realm, giving the species one of the widest known ranges of any common creature documented in the world. Dogs favor temperate climates and are found in settled places rather than open wilderness, living alongside people in large cities, smaller villages, and tribal communities alike. Their recorded presence spans Demacia, Noxus, Piltover, Targon, and Zaun. The species carries no lost designation, meaning it remains part of the living population wherever it has been documented rather than being counted among vanished creatures. Several champions hold known connections to dogs, among them Aurelion Sol, Nasus, and Zoe.
