Four-eyed Hammerhead Shark

The Four-eyed Hammerhead Shark is a sentient aquatic species of the seas around Bilgewater, one of the sharks that make their home in that region's waters. It is a creature of the open ocean, keeping to the Deep Seas rather than the shallows or the coast, and it is there, in the deep water, that the animal is known to live. The shark takes its name from its head and its eyes. Its skull widens into the shape of a hammer, and set within that broad head are two separate pairs of eyes, four in all, which give the species its title. Five fins carry it through the water, driving its movement through the deep seas where it lives. Its hide is brown and coarse, rough enough that the surface comes close to the feel of scales without ever fully being them. Among the creatures recorded around Bilgewater the Four-eyed Hammerhead Shark holds only a minor place, and no named champion is tied to it. It remains a beast of the deep ocean, known more for its strange form than for any part in the region's remembered history.
