Grellfeen

The grellfeen is a large serpent that dwells in the frozen seas of the Freljord. Its body carries a frost-like quality, suited to the brutal cold of the far north, where it moves through waters that never fully thaw. Among the aquatic creatures of the region, it ranks as one of the larger predators. Its range lies in the northern icy salt waters of the Freljord, and in particular the Ice Sea. This stretch of frozen coast sits near the territory held by the Ursine, placing the grellfeen among the dangers of one of the harshest and most isolated corners of Runeterra. Its diet is carnivorous. The grellfeen shares its habitat with the peoples and beasts of the Freljord, a region defined by ice, salt sea, and the constant struggle to survive. Though a minor figure in the wider chronicles of Runeterra, it remains part of the living ecology of the Freljord's coldest and most remote waters.
