Gromp

The Gromp is a massive, bloated toad-like creature that dwells in the murky waters of the Summoner's Rift jungle. Its large, bulging eyes and warty skin mark it out as one of the Rift's most recognizable denizens, and it makes its home in the swampy pools scattered through the wilds between the lanes. For all its sluggish and ponderous appearance, the Gromp is far from harmless. It strikes with surprising speed and force, lashing out with its long tongue and delivering poisonous blows to anything that ventures too close to its pool. The combination of heavy bulk and venomous attacks makes it a dangerous adversary for any who underestimate it. The Gromp is one of the jungle's staple camps, and its position near the blue buff keeps it at the center of early strategy on the Rift. It is a frequent target of level-one plays and invades, when those moving through the jungle at the start of a contest look to claim or contest it before the wider fighting begins.
