Wandering Caretaker Creature

Meeps are small celestial spirits that travel in the company of Bard, the Wandering Caretaker. Bobbing and chime-like in form, they float alongside him and give off soft musical tones. Drawn to his cosmic energy, they gather around Bard wherever he goes, following him between realms and across the dimensions he wanders. The meeps are more than passive companions. They act as conduits for Bard's celestial power, and when he strikes they lend their own energy to his attacks, so that the small spirits become part of the force he wields. In this way they are bound directly to his role as a cosmic caretaker. What the meeps truly are remains uncertain, one of the enduring mysteries of Runeterra's cosmology. They may be fragments of celestial harmony given form, and their presence hints at a wider celestial ecosystem that lies beyond mortal understanding. Whatever their origin, they are inseparable from Bard, appearing only in his company as he moves through the cosmos.
