Molediver

Molediver is a small, burrowing creature that ranges across Bandle City, Piltover, and Zaun, keeping to the tunnels and warrens beneath the surface. Its build reflects a life spent underground: a rounded, low-slung body covered in soft fur, tiny inconspicuous ears and eyes, shortened hind legs, and stubby but powerful forelimbs tipped with broad paws suited to digging. Molediver is best known as one of the Little Legends, and it appears in Saloon Showdown, a Teamfight Tactics animated short released in July 2021 and set in the High Noon universe. The short adapts TFT's Set 5: Reckoning into a narrative adventure, giving the game's non-champion companions personalities, relationships, and heroic arcs rather than treating them as cosmetic collectibles. In the story, Molediver joins the Fearless Fellowship, a party that also includes High Order Pengu, Fuwa, and Umbra. Guided by a quest from High Order Pengu, the group sets out to save a saloon from the remnants of the Reckoning. They travel through a desert, rescue an endangered poro from a fearsome wolf, and reach Squink's saloon, where the Black Mist has brought chaos. The climactic confrontation with Outlaw Squink is resolved when the Fellowship combines a Divine Gift, a Reforger, with Molediver's sword to create a Radiant Rapidfire Cannon. The moment shows Molediver carrying a blade into battle and playing a direct part in the party's victory, a playful translation of TFT's item-combination system into story form.
