A five-part digital webcomic released alongside the Star Guardian 2022 event, told in vertical-scroll webtoon format. Xayah travels from world to world assembling a new team of Star Guardians — a sharpshooter, a popstar, a clockwork tactician — not to save the galaxy, but because she believes their combined light can redeem Rakan, her partner, lost to the darkness. Each of the first three parts is a recruitment; the last two are the reckoning.
Star Guardian is an alternate universe, not Runeterra canon: it recasts League champions as magical-girl protectors of a distant galaxy, and nothing in it bears on the histories told in the Runeterra lore. This series accompanied the Wild Rift portion of the 2022 event.
