Demacian Crown

The Demacian Crown is the royal government of Demacia, the kingdom of light and justice. It is ruled by the Lightshield dynasty and seated in the Great City of Demacia, and its authority reaches back to the founding of the kingdom. Demacia is built on ideals of honor, duty, and the rejection of magic, and the Crown serves as the political embodiment of those principles. At the heart of the royal household is the Crownguard family, which serves as the kingdom's royal protectors. Jarvan IV, the crown prince, leads the Crown in the present day, and among the notable figures aligned with it are Garen, Lux, Xin Zhao, and Galio. Officially, the Crown counts the Demacian Mageseekers among its allies. The current era is one of internal crisis. Sylas's mage rebellion threatens to shatter the kingdom's foundations from within, while Noxus remains a standing enemy beyond its borders. Jarvan IV must navigate between the weight of tradition and the reality of magic present within Demacia's own lands, leaving the Crown active but strained by the forces pulling at it.
