Dragonguard

The Dragonguard is a specialized military order of Demacia, a dedicated branch of the kingdom's armed forces. Unlike the regular Demacian soldiery, which guards the realm against human armies and outlawed magic, the Dragonguard is charged with a single mandate: defending Demacian lands from dragons. The order's work is both defensive and active. It shields settled territory from these creatures while also seeking them out, pursuing dragons across the land and taking them captive rather than only cutting them down. The Dragonguard are set apart from other warriors by their armor of shining red and gold. Those colors were adopted to honor the soldiers who died at the battle of Wrenwall, and the order carries that memory into its continued service. It remains an active force within Demacia's military.
