Syrens

The Syrens are a pirate crew of Bilgewater, counted among the youngest to sail the port's waters, founded and captained by Miss Fortune. As one of the city's criminal powers, the crew earned its standing quickly rather than through a long-established name. The Syrens' rise was tied to the upheaval known as the Burning Tides. In its aftermath the balance of power across Bilgewater shifted, and the young crew came to sit at the center of the city's politics, a place of influence far greater than a crew of its age would ordinarily command. Miss Fortune remains the crew's captain and its only known member of note. The Syrens stay active, holding the influence they gained in the wake of the Burning Tides and continuing to shape the affairs of Bilgewater.
