Wuju Order

The Wuju Order is an ancient religious order of Ionia. It is led by Master Yi, and Wukong numbers among its known members. The order keeps its home at the sacred temple of Mistfall, where Master Yi and the Wuju disciples reside, and it endures to the present day. For all its age, the order was nearly extinguished. During the Noxian Invasion of Ionia, the Wuju were all but wiped out, their ranks decimated in the fighting that swept the province. Mistfall holds more than the order's faith. Beneath the temple lay the Bloodletters, a Darkin weapon that had belonged to Xolaani, and Master Yi stood as its guardian, keeping the buried blade from those who would claim it. That charge drew disaster to the order's doorstep. Kayn, wielder of the sentient Darkin scythe Rhaast, launched a brutal assault on the temple at Mistfall. He was driven by Rhaast's hunger to be reunited with his fellow Darkin below and by his own ambition, and he set upon the shrine to reach the weapon that lay beneath it. Against the onslaught stood Master Yi and the disciples of the Wuju Order, defenders of a temple that had become a battleground for the ambitions of the Darkin.
