Zaun Chem-Barons

The Zaun Chem-Barons are the criminal power that governs the undercity of Zaun. Each baron rules his own portion of that undercity as a ruthless crime lord, and leadership is divided among these many barons rather than held by any single figure. Together they form the closest thing Zaun has to a governing body, a self-directed council that answers to no authority above it. The Chem-Barons rose to power during the Industrial Rise of Zaun, and the faction remains active today, seated in Zaun itself. Its strength is built on the city's chemtech and heavy industry, which fuel the wealth and influence that make the barons the dominant political force of the undercity. The barons stand opposed to Piltover, counting both the Piltover Council and the Piltover Enforcers among their enemies. Renata Glasc, the Chem-Baroness, is numbered among the faction's most prominent members.
