Vlonqo Flower

Flora of Runeterra

Grows nowhere in Ionia except the southern cliffs from which it takes its name.

The vlonqo flower is a flowering plant native to Ionia, the region long called the First Lands. It is endemic to one place alone: the southern flanks of the Vlonqo cliffs, from which the flower takes its name. Growing nowhere else, it is bound entirely to that stretch of Ionian rock. Like other flora, the vlonqo flower sustains itself through photosynthesis, drawing the energy it needs from light rather than feeding as an animal would. Its foothold on the open southern sides of the cliffs is the only setting in which it is known to take root. Within the bestiary of Runeterra the vlonqo flower is catalogued among the region's flora and marked as of minor significance. It is not tied to any particular champion or tale, standing simply as a distinctive part of Ionia's plant life, notable for growing only along the Vlonqo cliffs that share its name.
