Ghajan River

Ghajan River is a waterway in Ionia, running through the southeastern reaches of Zhyun. It is counted among the notable places of that land and is marked on the maps of Runeterra, and it endures as an active location into the present day. The river's importance to Ionia's history rests on a single decisive moment. It was along the Ghajan that Kusho, Shen, and Zed at last captured Jhin, ending the long effort to bring him in. In that moment the site became the meeting point of four figures, the three who hunted Jhin and the one they finally ran to ground. Because of this, the Ghajan River is bound in memory to Jhin, Shen, and Zed alike, as well as to Kusho, who shared in the capture. The waters continue to flow through southeastern Zhyun, yet the place is remembered less for the river itself than for the capture that was carried out upon its banks.
