Kotha
Jhin razed this village early in his career, killing most of its people.
Kotha once stood as an inhabited village in the Southern Zhyun Highlands, a rugged upland stretch of Ionia. It was a genuine community with residents living among the peaks, but nothing of that settlement remains intact today. The place is now counted among Ionia's ruins.
Kotha's destruction is the work of Jhin. Early in his life as a murderer, well before Ionia grasped the scale of his crimes, he fell upon the village and razed it, killing most of the people who lived there. The savagery of that attack matched the reputation he would later earn, and it left the settlement stripped of nearly all its inhabitants. This massacre is the single documented event in Kotha's recorded history, fixing the ruin within the story of Ionia's most infamous killer.
Today Kotha's remains still lie within the Southern Zhyun Highlands. The site is tied to several Ionian figures, including Jhin, Kayn, Shen, and Zed, and it is regarded as a notable location despite its abandonment. What survives is not a living village but the wreckage of the killing that emptied it.
