Lunari Temple

The Lunari Temple is a hidden sanctuary set within Targon, raised in devotion to the Lunari, a secretive order that worships the moon. The Lunari exist in direct opposition to the Solari, the faith that holds dominance in the region. Because the ruling order sought to suppress their beliefs, the temple became a place of refuge for a devotion that could not be practiced openly. For centuries the temple lay concealed. The Solari came close to wiping out the Lunari altogether and erasing their history, and in the aftermath what remained of the order and its sacred site was hidden away, kept from sight so that its teachings and traditions would not vanish with its followers. This persecution left the Lunari nearly forgotten, their moon-worship forced into secrecy and their temple sealed from the world outside. The temple's importance was restored through Diana. She found the hidden site and, with it, the truth of the Lunari that the Solari had tried to bury. That discovery led her to become the Aspect of the Moon, reviving the connection the order had guarded in secret. The temple remains hidden to this day, a notable structure of Targon that shelters the Lunari faith against those who once tried to destroy it.
