Mother of Life River

An artificially made river of Shurima, the Mother of Life does not rise from any natural source. Instead it springs by magic from the Oasis of the Dawn, which lies inside the Sun Disc, the capital of Shurima. This conjured origin sets it apart from ordinary rivers, and it still flows today as an active waterway. The river is a source for others in the region. From it flow the Renek River and the Kahleek River, two waterways that take their beginnings from its current. The Mother of Life also joins the Serpentine River, linking it into Shurima's wider network of waters. As a notable location within Shurima, the Mother of Life River is associated with Azir and Sivir. It endures as an active river, its magical spring still feeding the Renek, the Kahleek, and the wider Serpentine beyond.
