Sotka River

The Sotka River is a waterway of Ionia whose headwaters lie in the Southern Highlands of Zhyun. From that upland source it flows down through the surrounding country, running near Kotha along its course. Counted among the notable places of the region, the river remains active and forms one of the recognizable features of the southern Zhyun highlands. The Sotka River is bound to the story of Jhin and Zed. After Jhin returned, Zed set out to hunt him down, and the banks of the Sotka were among the places Zed searched in that pursuit. Its course near Kotha placed it along the trail Zed followed through the Southern Highlands of Zhyun, and so the river is remembered as one of the sites tied to Jhin's reappearance and to the search that followed it.
