Temple of Koeshin

The Temple of Koeshin, also called the Great Temple of Koeshin, stands in northwestern Navori in Ionia. It serves as the principal seat of the Kinkou Order, and during the leadership of Master Shen the order is directed from its halls. The temple houses the Kinkou's leadership, traditionally a triumvirate of the Eye of Twilight, the Heart of the Tempest, and the Fist of Shadow. In Between Light and Shadows, that council has been reduced to two, Shen the Eye of Twilight and Kennen the Heart of the Tempest, with Akali's former seat as Fist of Shadow left unfilled. From this temple Kennen sets off at great speed for distant Raishai, on the southern coast of Zhyun, carrying the order's judgment after acolytes there send an urgent plea. Their own temple has been corrupted by an unknown evil spirit they cannot repel, and having delivered the leadership's rulings many times before, Kennen races south to save the Raishai faithful. When Noxus invaded Ionia, the Kinkou triumvirate ruled that the order would take no part in the war, an edict the Raishai acolytes upheld without question. In that same conflict the order was driven from its ancient temple by the followers of Zed, once an acolyte of the Kinkou himself. The Temple of Koeshin remains active.
