Upper Slopes

The Upper Slopes form the middle stretch of Mount Targon, the great peak at the heart of the region of Targon. They rise above the Ring of the Mountain and fall below The Peak, marking the mid-altitude band between the mountain's lower reaches and its summit. This position places the Upper Slopes along the route to the top of Mount Targon. A climber leaving the Ring of the Mountain passes upward through this middle region before reaching The Peak, so the slopes serve as the central stage of the long ascent rather than a destination in themselves. The Upper Slopes are counted among the places associated with Nasus, Pantheon, Soraka, and Taric. The area remains active, an enduring band of the mountainside set between the Ring below and the Peak above.
