Faerie

Faerie are small winged humanoids with a humanlike shape, and they stand shorter than yordles. Their nature runs toward play and mischief rather than order. Pix, one of their number, is the source of what is known about how they come into being: a Faerie is born out of a lily flower in The Glade, and the forests of that place are where they make their home. The abilities Faerie possess are unpredictable rather than disciplined. They can transfigure things and warp matter at will, and the same unruliness extends to the spaces they keep. A Faerie glade sits in a dimension set well apart from ordinary time, so the hours inside one do not track the hours outside it. Access to those glades is not something an outsider can force. A visitor has to be invited by a Faerie, and only then can the threshold be crossed. Pix extended exactly that invitation to the yordle Lulu, which is how her connection to Faerie-kind began.
