God-Warrior

The God-Warriors, also called the Sunborn, make up the body of Ascended who were admitted into Shuriman's Ascended Host. The label separates them from the Baccai, who were denied that place. Most God-Warriors carry animal features on an otherwise human frame, giving the group its recognizable appearance. As a transformed race, the God-Warriors descend from the Ascended rather than standing as a species of their own origin. They are sapient, and their speech spans Ixtali, Targonian, and Shuriman. Their presence reaches across Ixtal, Shurima, and Targon. Many figures are counted among or connected to them, including Aatrox, Azir, Jax, Malphite, Nasus, Ornn, Pantheon, Rammus, Renekton, Sivir, Taliyah, Varus, Xerath, Xin Zhao, Zaahen, and Zoe. No part of the race is recorded as lost.
