Naga

Naga are a spirit-kind of Bilgewater, counted among the region's spiritual races and descended from the greater lineage of Spirit. Rather than beings wholly of flesh, they belong to the spirit-kind that share the waters and shores of the region. They are an amphibious people, equally at home in the open sea and along the coast, and they dwell near the Serpent Isles that lie within Bilgewater. This life between land and water sets them apart from the fully terrestrial peoples of Runeterra, binding their existence to the tides and waters around those islands. Their speech is the tongue of Bilgewater, the same language spoken by the seafarers and islanders who share the region. As spirit-kind rooted in these waters, the Naga endure as part of Bilgewater's blending of the mortal world and the world of spirits.
