Vesani
A scarce, ground-bound Vastayan subspecies once native to the Blessed Isles and now tied to Ionia.
The Vesani are a sapient mortal race of Runeterra and a subspecies of Vastaya. They are uncommon among their kin, and unlike many Vastayan lineages they keep to solid ground rather than water or air. Their historical home was the Blessed Isles, and they are no longer found there.
Today the Vesani are associated with Ionia. As a Vastayan people they fall under the Runeterran language grouping, meaning they are recorded across all known languages rather than tied to a single tongue. The race is not classified as lost.
