Draven's Spinning Axes

Draven's spinning axes are oversized, ornate throwing blades, custom-made for the fighting style of the Glorious Executioner of Noxus. He designed them himself and had them weighted so that, once hurled, they ricochet off a target and return to his waiting hands. That returning motion lets him keep more than one axe in the air at once, building a continuous onslaught that few opponents can read or escape. The weapons are built to be seen as much as to kill. Gilded and decorated to catch the light, they are as much performance props as blades, and Draven throws them with the precision of a man who has rehearsed every angle for an audience. Before he took to the arena he served as a Noxian soldier, and it was there he found that the crowds prized his taste for the dramatic, and the arc of blood thrown from each spinning axe, as much as the killing itself. The axes remain his signature to this day, tuned and re-tuned to complement his theatrical style and to give the adoring Noxian crowds the endless show they come to see.
