The Hextech Core, also called the hexcore, is a refined and stabilized hextech crystal assembly that represents the pinnacle of Piltovan hextech engineering. Each core holds a single brackern crystal ringed by precisely calibrated arcane regulators, a mechanism that converts raw, volatile magical energy into stable and usable power. In this form the cores drive everything from the great machinery of Piltover's infrastructure to the augmented body of Viktor himself. The device was the work of Piltover's artificers, who set out to harness the power of brackern crystals in a controlled manner rather than let it burn wild. The design was refined across decades of experiment and iteration, and the stabilized crystal it produced became the foundation of the city's technological revolution, the power source beneath its towers and machines. No one is bound to the hexcore more tightly than Viktor. He gave up his own humanity in the belief that if emotion could be removed, the suffering that emotion causes would end alongside it. From that conviction he now works to carry the revelation of the hexcore outward to the rest of the world, certain of its worth even among those who cannot grasp what it offers. The core remains active, and it endures as the flagship achievement of Piltovan hextech craft.
